Angela Sun is an American journalist and presenter of television, sportscaster, and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun is a multi-award award-winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She earned her degree from the University of California with a master's degree in communication and sociology. Sun had exceptional surfing skills and was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to her getting sponsorships from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. This was an excellent slingshot for her career in entertainment. Later she worked as an actor, sportscaster, investigational reporter, as well as film director. Sun worked as a news anchor for numerous channels. She was also the Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. In 2014, Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute. She is also among the first Asian American star to be a part of the show at ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is a well-known actress who has been featured in a variety of movies. Sun has appeared in movies like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled 2005, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the negative effects of plastic pollution on the oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
